Harlow's Hope provides financial and practical support for families facing the unimaginable — supplementing mortgages, rent, car payments, electric bills, house cleaning, and lawn care so parents can spend uninterrupted time with their child.
Who Qualifies
For the families walking the hardest road.
We support families with children from newborn through age five who are coming home from the hospital on hospice care.
Our mission focuses on children facing rare and complex life-limiting diagnoses — the ones that often have very little dedicated nonprofit support behind them.
At this time, we do not serve families receiving palliative or long-term care, and we generally do not provide assistance for diagnoses such as pediatric cancer or congenital heart disease. Many wonderful organizations already walk alongside those families, and keeping our focus narrow lets us show up fully for the families with the fewest options.
Within that focus, we believe in supporting the whole family: the parents who quietly break each night, the siblings whose lives revolve around their brother or sister, the grandparents holding it all together.
Financial Assistance

Our support supplements these expenses rather than covering them in full. We pay creditors and service providers directly, so families never have to worry about paperwork, delays, or difficult conversations.

Application Process
Simple, gentle, and private.
Applications may only be submitted by a certified member of the child's hospice care team — a hospice social worker, hospice nurse, nurse practitioner, child life specialist, or spiritual counselor. Family and friends are warmly welcome to ask the hospice team to submit an application on the family's behalf.

Up to six months. That window covers mortgage or rent, the electric bill, the car payment, house cleaning, and lawn care — supplementing these expenses rather than paying each one in full.
Where does the money actually go?+
Donations support both direct family assistance and the operation of Harlow's Hope. When we help with a bill, we pay the mortgage company, the utility, or the service provider directly rather than disbursing cash to families.
Do families have to repay anything?+
Never. Support from Harlow's Hope is a gift, given with love and no strings attached.
Is my donation tax-deductible?+
Yes. Harlow's Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every gift is fully tax-deductible.
